「"Dress Code"」

Golf is a sport for ladies and gentlemen. If you play golf, please observe good manners. Everyone who plays golf needs to enjoy golf. Wear golf clothes as one of the golf etiquette. The golf course has a dress code. People are not allowed to enter the golf course due to the dress code. You need to check with the golf course about the dress code.
[What you should wear when entering or leaving the golf course]
Both men and women should wear jackets. Shirts should have collars.
Bottoms should be slacks, chinos, long pants, etc.
Shoes should be leather shoes for men and low heels or pumps for women.
[Golf attire]
Tops: collared polo shirts or turtlenecks. Bottoms: cotton pants, chinos, or culottes for women. Shoes: golf shoes such as "soft spikes" or "spikeless."

「"Basic manners at the golf course"」

[Don't be late]
Arrive at the golf course at least 30 minutes before the start time and wait near the teeing area 10 minutes before. If you think you will be late for your arrival at the golf course, contact the golf course as soon as possible.
[Don't get in the way of the person hitting the ball]It is bad manners to disturb others, such as talking loudly. When the person hitting the ball has reached their address, do not stand behind them or make noise.
[No smoking]
Smoking is prohibited on the course and in the clubhouse. If you are a smoker, please make sure to check the designated smoking areas.
[Slow play]
Try to play first. Be careful of slow play so that you don't leave too much space between you and the group in front of you. Before your turn comes up, decide which club you will use next, grab two or three clubs you think you will use next and head to the ball, and jog quickly after finishing the hole.
[Be careful about hitting the ball]
It is important to be careful not to leave too much space between you and the group in front of you, but to avoid hitting the ball in front of you, make sure to wait until the group in front of you has gone far enough before hitting your next shot. If there is a risk that the ball will hit someone in front of you, or if it curves too far to the left or right, don't forget to call out "Fore!" loudly.
[On the green]
Walk quietly on the green without running or jumping as this can damage the grass. Do not step on other people's putting lines. Fix ball marks by pushing the grass together with a green fork.
[Bunker]
When entering a bunker, enter from a low spot. After completing your bunker shot, use a rake to smooth out any marks from your shot or footprints before exiting.
